Exactly my thinking. It’s the only place it says it can, in the manual there’s US instead of EU which could suggest that this is the one, but, dunno, if someone would be so kind to compare his “stock” adapter with this one, so I can make peace at last.

I’d go with boss adapter, but it’s more expensive than EHX one, and EHX one should be original to begin with.. Dunno.
It’ll probably work with any 9V DC adapter…
