Founded in 1968 by Mike Matthews, Electro-Harmonix is known for pioneering innovation in analog audio signal processing, digital delay, digital sampling, and polyphonic real-time processing. EHX effects pedals are used by professional and amateur guitar players, bass players, keyboardists, producers, studio engineers, DJs, vocalists, and a wide variety of musicians and instrumentalists.
Our iconic effects are used around the world and have contributed to recordings by Pink Floyd, U2, White Stripes, Billy Joel, The Police, Devo, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, and countless others. Since 1998, our vacuum tubes have been at the heart of guitar and hi-fi amplifiers made by Fender®, Peavey®, Mesa Boogie®, Marshall®, and Audio Research®.

Since its start in 1968 when founder Mike Matthews ushered in the age of overdrive with the revolutionary LPB-1 Linear Power Booster, Electro-Harmonix has been a leader in the electric guitar’s sound evolution.
With a primary product line of over 150 guitar effects pedals, from fuzz to delay and modulation to synthesis, the sound and appeal of Electro-Harmonix products are so powerful that they have been imitated and copied by almost every pedal company on the planet.
