What is the story on the brown and yellow one and the blue one?
You actually own a couple Guild Foxey Ladies?! Now those are rare!
How are they though?ZenJengaMemberQuote:Nobody invented electricity….. :freak: lol..……..but if you are talking about ‘discovery’ then I think that honour goes to the English scientist William Gilbert …..he actually first coined the term “electricity” and wrote about the electrification of many substances. He also first used the terms electric force, magnetic pole, and electric attraction. This was way back in the 1600’s ….. Benjamin Franklin wasn’t even born until 1706….and even then his father was English.

Tis true.
ZenJengaMemberYea, I have the same problem with mine. It’s the blend knob. It not only blends the signal, but affects the output as well. Blend all the way down and there’s no drop, starting blending in and the volume of the dry signal drops… blend on max and the delay signal is nice and loud, however of course no dry signal.
I have worked out ways to get around it, as in only using that particular delay for certain things. LPB1 helps with these sort of problems… I use it with my Small Stone to help with the volume drop, I’m assuming it would do the same for the delay, but I haven’t tried it.ZenJengaMemberexcellent. I’m stoked. It’ll go great w/ my hazarai and maybe my #1 Echo will have to retire to the cabinet.
ZenJengaMemberoh dear.
ZenJengaMemberI use the lpb-1 as a boost for the big box ver4 small stone to remedy the volume drop. The color switch in up position is more dramatic with the big box small stones, therefore I prefer it to the Nano. That said, I’m going to get my Small Stone modded by AnalogMike/Analogman. For those of you not familiar with this mod, he adds two trim pots, one for the Volume and one for Feedback, so you can adjust them. I’m looking forward to tweaking up the feedback to make the coloring more intense.

2. Russian Muff Pi (black) – had a green sovtek, but it was stolen !
3. Small Clone
4. SMM w/ Hazarai (ordered one after trying one and flipping out over how useful it is)
5. #1 Echo (decent digi delay.. needs tap tempo)
6. LPB-1 (helps with the volume drop of the small stone)
7. Nano clone – sold it, it was garbage compared to the original big box modelZenJengaMemberThey sound great, but they hum like hell when used with an AC power supply. With batteries it’s fine, but the power supply makes it noisy. Kind of annoying. I don’t like using batteries when it can be avoided.
ZenJengaMemberI’ve got the #1 Echo, however I find it lacks from not having a way to control the tempo, other than turning the delay rate knob, which is a pain live, especially when you want it to match the tempo of the song you’re on. I’m of the opinion that any digital delay should always have a tap tempo. The Stereo MM w/ Hazarai has a tap tempo. I’m picking one up soon to replace my #1 Echo, although I will be keeping the #1 Echo, because despite my complaints, it is excellent and sounds great and I’ll keep it anyway. I bet it would be fun to use it after the SMMw/H to double up on delays..
Would that work? Have a delay pedal delaying a delayed signal? Bet you could get some wacky stuff going on.ZenJengaMemberJazz/Grunge/Spacerock/Post-Rock/Funk Yup.
ZenJengaMemberI am one of the Fender & EHX folk.
