Well, I ended up going with a Small Stone. Though it doesn’t give me as much “control,” I liked the tone the most and will send it in to get modded if the volume is an issue for me. PLUS, the price was right.

I have looked into the Bad Stone but don’t see any ebay.

What I am gathering here is that a lot of you feel that the Hoax CAN be used as a phaser. My question is this, how does it work as a basic warm phaser? I feel like the concept of two delay lines together may make it hard to get simple sounds.

It’s like, I can have more fun and options with the Hoax but the Small Stone is a pedal that is pretty straight forward and you can’t go wrong. I wish there were more demos out there of the Hoax using it as a phaser and not just people showing off all the cool noises they can make.
