Nice one!
VVMMMemberWould be great to hear your opinion about running the unit with a smaller transformer like this, if that could work fine or damage the unit> http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000VUCKOI?pc_redir=1396769000&robot_redir=1
VVMMMemberGood – Again, thanks for the input here – much appreciated!
VVMMMemberOkay – Could you be so kind to give a link as a example or suggestion for a decent transformer in this case?
VVMMMemberRight. If I use one of these type of transformers 220v to 110v (i.e in the image) most likely I will damage the unit?
VVMMMemberI see. So in other words, there is not any option to make the unit run in EU without opening the guts?
VVMMMemberWOW, thanks again for that information but it looks pretty advance for my skills with electronics. I was wondering if there is any transformer/adapter I could use to switch to the 2 prong cord of my unit and that one then to the EU electric current, without the need of open the guts/board inside. Thanks a lot.
VVMMMemberMany thanks for the prompt answer! Sorry about my lack of knowledge now but could you be a more specific? Maybe drop a link with the kind of transformer I need. I googled that but it led to 24V ac transformer, which I don’t think is what I need.
