the approx date of the pedal can be found on the bottom of the pots. you have to take the board out of the chasis to see it though. some related threads:

viggy59Memberwoooooooooo! got it working today. fired up like a champ and sounds great.
viggy59Memberthats what i figured
thanks for the reply
viggy59Membergot the big muff pi working yesterday… hopefully have the poly flange going in the next day or so…
anybody know.. are the output jacks grounded to anything? i have the positive (tip) lines sorted out, but cant figure out if the output grounds are supposed to be wired up anywhere…
viggy59Memberunless it’s been modded, the plug on it is for USA voltage input, which is 110 volts AC. dunno what the norm is in argentina, but if it’s 220 volts, get a transformer, or you WILL fry that thing.
if you’re not sure, take some pics of the plug on the pedal, and the outlets in your house and we may be able to point ya in the right direction, if it’s not a voltage issue…
good find by the way!!
viggy59Memberwell the adapter that is provided is for american use. Our service voltage is 110 volts AC. the quickest solution is to buy a step-down transformer from an electronics store. It will provide an american style outlet @ 110 volts. something like this…
you could also take the power supply to an electronics store, and they should be able to match you with an australian equivalent.
viggy59Memberyea i noticed that too. i’ve seen a few shots of others, and from what i can tell they look like mine. i guess i’ll just have to go through and check everything once it’s all fixed up. What year is your btw?
viggy59Membergreat pics. any chance you can snag a good shot of the in/out jacks and switches?
just want to make sure i get it all right!
thanks!
viggy59Memberthanks for the replies. some shots of the inside would be great.
the last time i saw one of these on ebay was about 6 months ago and it sold for a little over $600. just depends on whether or not somebody wants to pay for it
viggy59Memberyea haven’t been able to find schematics for either. got some pics of a polychorus, but theire a little tough to see anything on.
viggy59MemberAlright. here’s what i have… dates on the pots 05/80
the input jack, and blend switch are correct. i’m missing both outputs and the on/off switch.
there is a set of red/black wires (second pic)that should be one output that are still on the board. which output this is, and where the other on attaches the the board, is what i need to know.and also, if anyone knows, on the transformer, which wire is hot, and which is neutral?
pics!
