    I’m not sure that the pitch shifting is that much to blame. But I’ve drawn the obvious conclusion and switched the two devices: first the SuperEgo, then the effect. And that works beautifully.

    The wave form is probably close to a sine wave. No where near as many harmonics as a bass guitar. But I’ll try to hook up a bass, see what I can expect.

    Ok, thanks. That’s a pity. I was just reading the manual of the Roland RC-50 which does seem to have that functionality.
