TwizMemberQuote:The first setup is lovely, I’ve always wanted a PH-1 or a PH-1r, it’s really tempting. Thanks, and good eye. That’s a PH-1 (from Japan, with the green label). I got it about 10 years ago for $20, and it really is a great sounding phaser. I recently picked up a Phase 90 for gigs, but nothing sounds as good to me as that old PH-1.
TwizMemberHaha. Yea, mine is a 98. I got it on ebay last year. I think the original owner must have bought it, and threw it under his bed or something. It was pretty much brand new. I like those Lesters the most. They’re not expensive, have real finishes on ’em, and aren’t as heavy (no maple cap). I have a black one as well.
Sorry to go off track in the thread…
TwizMemberI was using this stuff for a while in my band.
Lately, I’ve downsized a bit. I switch between the Rat or a Big Muff for the dirt.
TwizMemberI had a similar problem with my Octave Multiplexer. I wound up changing it’s position in the chain, and I’m not getting a pop any more. Did you try changing the order maybe? It can change the sound a little too, so I guess take that into consideration.
TwizMemberI saw Buddy Guy last month. That was pretty awesome.
TwizMemberTwizMemberI’ve never seen anything like ’em. Maybe they’re from a PA system or something? They’re really cool looking regardless.
TwizMemberAt the moment…
