still searching for lofi loop junky?
Great to see you here, tubezipper!
Both the 16 sec DD and the Lofi Loop Junky arrived this week. I’m in Looper’s Heaven
I’m going to start a 16 sec DD thread as soon as I get a chance to record a soundclip of it. it’s a fantastic pedal, but I want to know more about the mod that EHX can do for it.wow awesome!
how are you liking them, especially the lofi. I would love to create something on it. How much you get it for? cause they’re bloody expensive.
The Lofi Loop Junky is extremely simple, but brilliant for its simplicity. Like the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai, it allows you to determine your own loop time without any count in. The 16sDD works more like the BOSS RC20XL – there is a count in, and the loop time is predetermined by setting the tempo and number of measures.
The SMMH and the 16sDD allow you to pile on multiple layers, reverse the loop, speed up the loop, and change the pitch of the loop. The LFLJ does not. However, the LFLJ and the 16sDD allow you to modulate the loop after it is recorded. The SMMH allows you to filter (EQ) the loop after it is recorded.
All 3 of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Let’s just say I didn’t pay anywhere near full price for the LFLJ, which is over $300 USD. It was used, but in perfect condition with the original box, cloth wrap, manual, and the power plate. I am quite happy with the purchase.
Great stuff man.
Really want to have a lofi loop junky on my board. Although for now i can slightly recreate its sound with turning the blend, level and chorus/vibrato on my DMM all the way up. All that its missing is the hiss and beautiful noise
Firstly a SMMH needs to get on my board, thus replacing the DL4
Is the 2880 on your wish list or have you grabbed one of those too? ; )

tubezipperModeratorQuote:If you don’t have a Reissue Hot Tubes, jump on this opportunity while you have the chance.I adore this pedal. It has such a classic Rock sound.
I’m using it on this song http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6938025
and in this soundclip http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6820524 (but you have to guess which 2 riffs the Hot Tubes was used on)
Tasty
tubezipperModeratorQuote:The miserable thing is that all of my wonderful old stuff is probably long gone (Instant Replay, Space Drum, Domino Theory, Three Phase Liner, and on, and on). Since I grew up with the stuff, it was always “just there” — same goes for Mike, I’m sure he wishes he still had copies of all sorts of things — “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.”When I was in junior high/high school, I used to keep a massive pedal setup — enough that the cumulative noise would start to play itself. In college, I had to downsize, and wound up with my Graphic Fuzz and 16 Second DD — more recently, I really like the Tube Zipper. In fact, working on the new EHX site has got me excited to dig around and try my mothballed pedals again. (I even have some ideas about TOTALLY NEW pedals…

Where are the smileys on here?
Seriously cool stuff Scott!
