I’ll conduct some research on mine, as soon as I can…

I did two tracks with my G4BM, one of which had it stacked.

My band isn’t heavy or or too loud so it made for an interesting track.

The distortion with the volts down is really REALLY awesome.
It is what I wanted out of the Germanium OD.

I’ll see if I can put something up…
But permission must be asked from my band.

So I got my germanium muff today while I was in my first day of studio time with my band.

I will try and find some way to find a spot for it in my chain during this recording session.

All my equipment is at the studio and I can’t try it out until then.

I’m hoping I can use it, because my Germanium OD pedal is way too noisey for studio work, but man my little big muff has stepped up. The fuzz tone is incredible… Its like I haven’t heard it before.

I’m hoping to squeeze in some of the new germanium muff in this session.

I have my Germanium Muff en route and it will be here this week.

    Waiting patiently for this.

Is it really a muff though?

If this is to be made,
I’d love to see it with the Germanium OD’s VOLTS control.

I love my Germanium OD… It is a staple to my sound.

I am truly excited about this pedal being germanium.

If it does have a volts control, which I would doubt,
forget about it. That’s a game changer where muffs are concerned.

I miffed on the Deluxe memory boy as I have a boss DM2,
and am to enamored with it to get another delay.

The Germanium Muff Fuzz will have me waiting the night before to buy tickets to the show though.

figure out how the Q affects your pedal and you are golden.

Also, make sure that your amp/cab set up is right for the bass output,
    otherwise things can get dirty.

If someone owning both could put up a video or sound clip that would be amazing.

Does anyone have a pic of Parallel Series…. I’ve looked and only came across the Blend?

I want to see the Physical Difference in the set up of the pedal.

Definitely worth holding out for the series/parallel version. They show up on ebay every so often. Set an automatic search so emay emails you when they show up.

    Great Tip…. Thanks.

After I get back from tour I am going to look into this seriously.

I couldn’t get rid of the russian, and the Little big muff would go on stand by.

I really love the tone of the deluxe with the compression and threshold.
An old buddy of mine had one that I would use in a past music project and I just started playing guitar in my band so I am reigniting the fire for that fuzz that I once had.

I am looking to obtain one… They are just hard to come by on ebay and craigslist.

If anyone has any other means, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Trae

    Whoa!

    I love germanium pedals.

    They are elite.

    This would be really interesting.

I’m trying not to let my imagination get the better of me.

I just ordered my boutique fuzz pedal, and am awaiting it, I would like a germanium muff to replace my current big muff.

    This is exciting.

    My setup:

    AMP – Pog2 – Germanium OD – Little Big Muff – Tuner – GUITAR

Little bit off topic, but how do you like the Germanium OD??

The Germanium OD is really great.

I use it more than my Fuzz pedals

I find myself constantly tweaking settings and finding interesting calibrations.

It is a well crafted design with the gain, bias, & volts set up.

i think the Germanium OD is a great pedal; most people are most aware of it for the nasty, garagey tones, but even subtle settings add a new element to your sound.
i often used mine at round about unity gain on a clean setting for the slight compression it has, and also because it imparts a nice ‘vintage’ quality to your tone.

    AGREED!

I was doing a bit of this last night before practice. Great Pedal.

I play with fuzz and my POG2

    Muff + POG2= Awesome

You have to have the right amp and speaker set up. Otherwise, it can be a bit much.

I had to tweak some things.

well if you have any problems still, you can start by mailing me your pog2 and, um. ya thats all.

I have been known to give things away, call it a lack of value on things or a love of gifting.

You could have one if you truly wanted one, you just have to go and get it.
If I gave it to you, you wouldn’t value it the same as if you had bought it yourself.
