ToonsterMemberIsn’t there a solution to rewind the tap back when in bypass, if that is possible it would still be verry usefull
ToonsterMemberWell I always tell people that want a tube-amp but (that are really newbie) to get a ac15 not an ac30 because if you turn the knobs of the ac15 all the way it’s not such terror as an ac15..
And Vox makes the most affordable but pretty high-end combos at the moment.. So just get it while you can!
ToonsterMemberI saw that clip at one of The Netherlands most populair tv-programs^^
Personally I like more basic drummers;-)
ToonsterMemberWell there are already some crazy pedals of course.. If you comine an octave multiplexer and a microsynth you can already get glitchy things.. There now is a RIng Thing, that also does a lot of you described, also a few filterpedals.. So I don’t see something like this coming.. But it would be cool of course, I like crazy pedals:-)
June 5, 2010 at 3:35 am in reply to: Does EHX make a gate type pedal that can completely cut off a signal if it surpasses a certain volume threshold? #105417ToonsterMemberWell, there are some boutique fx-builders with gated fuzz..
The trigger of the Microsynth can be seen as a gate, but I don’t think you’re looking for that..
But really clean gates, I don’t know.. I guess you’re better of in 19″ studio gear kinda effects.. I played with a few in studio’s that do the same thing as you described..
ToonsterMemberHey man, that’s sounds really nice and relaxing to me:-)
ToonsterMemberQuote:I was reluctant to take it off of my guitar board because it sounds so good but the band i’m with plays reggae and really, the out-of-control dub sounds are sooooo gooood on it. Just wish I had another.
(i’m using it on the piano and organ in this song: http://www.last.fm/music/Sam+Binder/Dub+Love+Single/Dub+Love , if you’re interested in how it can be used both obnoxiously and tastefully.)There is a Deftones cover showing with the mp3 from last.fm on my windows media player ^^ Is that normal?
And a cool track by the way:)

Now I hope they will have some other surprises..ToonsterMemberMaybe put a buffer before it or a buffered pedal.. Don’t know if that is the reason, but sounds possible to me..
ToonsterMemberYou already worked this out what is told in the manual?:
PREAMP GAIN ADJUSTMENT The preamp gain in the Bass Micro Synth has been set
at the factory for use with a bass equipped with single-coil passive pickups. If you will
be using another instrument with higher or lower output, it may be necessary to
readjust this setting. A screwdriver or alignment tool with a tip width of no more than
1/16″ is required. To access the preamp gain adjustment, remove the bottom plate
from the Bass Micro Synth. Look for the small trim pot in the lower left corner of the
circuit board, it is labeled TRIM1 GAIN TRIM. Turning the trim pot clockwise will
increase the preamp gain. Turning it counter-clockwise will decrease preamp gain.
Please do not touch any other components when the bottom plate is removed or you
risk damaging the circuit board or the components.May 24, 2010 at 8:57 pm in reply to: New Devices: Germanium^4 Big Muff &, .44 Magnum, Freeze, Neo Clone, & Headphone Amp #104875ToonsterMemberThat was exactly what I was thinking!
