Once again, I’m amazed at what EH can come out with! Bill Ruppert you are the man. Thank you so much for your inspiration and ingenuity on these pedals!
Tone DoctorMemberI totally agree. I have a Holy Stain also, love it. Presets would be awesome.
Tone DoctorMemberI wasn’t aware that the SMMH had a loop. I do know it has a looper function. Unless you are referring to the other input and output. I do know that the SMMH has two processors. Does patching another effect through those jacks make the effect go through the second processor? Thanks for the info

Me being of Irish background I enjoyed it so much. You are a true genius! I agree with the person that said you should do a solo project. I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thanks for the inspiration!

You have inspired me to look beyond what I have been playing for 40+ years. I’m using EHX pedals now more than ever. I’m doing different styles of music and really seeing what I can get out of my guitars sonically for not only recoding, but playing live also. Keep up the great work.
Tone DoctorMemberI would love to see more pedals have the preset capability like the Pog2, SMMH, The Cathedral and The Ring Thing pedals.
Tone DoctorMemberI think Mr. Isley might have used a Big Muff, there is a video on you tube of summer breeze “rare 70’s version” it has a still photo of the band performing, and on his pedalboard is a pedal that has 3 knobs on it just like a Big Muff, not entirely sure about it, but it looks like one. Check it out for yourself. Great tone on that song.
Tone DoctorMemberI guess one of my favorite Muff users would be Mr. Gilmour. He’s learned how to tame one for years.
I have Big Muff w Tone Wicker, and also the Double Muff. Two different beasts all together, but they sound well in my setup.Tone DoctorMemberQuote:I was on eBay, and I was shooting for one with the Tone Wicker just because of the added features and what-not, but it got out of my price range, so I ended up getting a regular NYC Muff. I’m excited. Sadly, I have an old solid state amp right now, but the American Muffs sounds more Tube-ish than the Russian, so I think I’ll be able to wait until later this year when I get the Marshall Class Five.Anyway, rambling and all that aside, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks or easy/beginner mods that might be nice, as I’m relatively new to pedals and mods, and both are things I’m starting to get interested in. Thanks for any replies in advance.
P.S. I’m new here, so I guess this can sorta be an introduction thread, I guess.
Hey, I’m new here also. I just purchased a Big Muff w/Tone Wicker at Guitar Center for 80 bucks. It’s worth it to have the extra features. It opens up so many more possibilities in tone. I recommend it for sure.
