Besides repatching, and removing the A/B to get stereo ping pong, the only thing I can think of would be a third amp, mute pedal (Signal Pad/Tuner), and another A/B. But that would lead to a lot of tap dancing.
Another member on this forum (FenderEHXForever) made a switching pedal called the ‘Labrynth’. It aloud him to change the order of his FXs without repatching. Something pike that may work for you. But it’s a custom build, sorry.

TheGhostMachinaMemberWhat are you using for software/soundcard on yer PC?
TheGhostMachinaMemberFebruary 16, 2011 at 10:33 pm in reply to: Legacy by The Ghost Machina (featuring the VoiceBox) #114349TheGhostMachinaMemberWell, I was savin for the HOG when the local music store got a POG2 in stock. This doesn’t happen often where I live, so I spent my HOG savings on it.. But I managed to pick up a few extra sound gigs, so I could afford the HOG as well.
I love the expression ability with the HOG. I love the detune on the POG2. There are sounds I can get with the POG2 I can’t seem to replicate with the HOG, and vise versa. Don’t get me wrong, I can get close, just not exact. The midi on the HOG interested me from the start, because I was already using midi a lot with my Ableton laptop rig. And the spectral gate is awesome.
So the POG2 now lives on my live pedal board, and the HOG stays home and snuggles with my 16 Second Delay.

TheGhostMachinaMemberTheGhostMachinaMemberMAudio expression pedal is 8 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ x 2″. Allow a lil extra space in back for the molded cable.
TGM
TheGhostMachinaMemberIt’s also 2″ high. Good loin about right angle connectors.. Except the expression pedal it comes with is a straight molded 1/4. So you’ll have to replace that if ya need the space. Otherwise, allow another 2.5″+/- for your jacks.
TheGhostMachinaMemberSame as any other pedal, I suppose. I bounce back and forth between my HOG and POG2, depending on venue and the material we’re doing. I’ve also mixed FOH on large format consoles with VDosc PA (5000+ ppl/festival shows) for bands that use the HOG, and it sounds killer. Just like it does in my basement, but louder;)

TheGhostMachinaMemberMine came with an MAudio expression pedal. About the same size as the Boss one. And yes, when in ‘volume’ mode, you can do volume swells with it.

TheGhostMachinaMemberSorry guys, I kinda forgot about this thread. The presets are in fact stored in the HOG, so no joy on the double preset idea. You can, however use one foot controller (HOG, 16 Sec Delay, or the 2880) with an A/B switch to operated two separate units. So one foot controller could store presets in the HOG, and also control the 2880/16 Sec. Just not at the same time, tho’.

TheGhostMachinaMemberI front a three piece electro rock band (The Ghost Machina) where I perform 100% of the lead vocals using the Voice Box in vocoder mode. Before getting the VB I was using vocoder plug ins from anyone I could find. I was constantly tweaking and changing it, trying to find that ‘it’ sound. I bought the VB blind, paid cash. Brought it home, plugged it in, and haven’t tweaked my settings since (almost a year now!). Now, I constantly get compliments on how good the vocoder sounds, even when people don’t understand what a vocoder is! The VB defines The Ghost Machina as a band. I could not perform without it. Album out in April, demo vids of the VB, and all the other EHX stuff I used (a lot) coming shortly after:)

TheGhostMachinaMemberThx Cryabetes, the volumn pedal in the FX loop will do the same as an expression set to feedback. I do this so I have control over both feedback (volumn in FX loop) and mod rate (expression).
The DMB replaced my Boss DD-20, Boss DD-3, and Boss SDE-300, cause it can do it all, and doesn’t have that ‘Boss’ sound. But you are right, total control isn’t for everyone. My day job is Sound Tech at a professional production company, so I spend all my time tweaking knobs and throwing faders. I like total control:)

TheGhostMachinaMemberI’m not certain you can do that, since the foot controller is 1/4 connection. There is another thread, under the suggestions/wishful thinking category, that talks about wanted features on the 2880, and I think that’s one of them.
However, I don’t own one, so I can’t say for sure.

TheGhostMachinaMemberIf you use an expression pedal set to control feedback, you can turn the feedback down after the effect is off to kill the trails before turning the effect back on. I thought the same as you when I first got my DMB. Then I realized how much I was juicing the feedback.
