The Ghost of Sim TutMember
Yeah I’ve not used it as a volume pedal. The EV5 (the one I use) has only an attached stereo cable, so it would work for some things, not all, and would involve plugging/unplugging as already mentioned.
I wanted my Behringer FCV100 to work because in theory, it could work as expresson pedal for one and volume for another, but it didn’t work at all with the RT.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberHappy to help. You can read my whole review here: https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/3153/
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberIncreased by who?
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberTo answer the original question, you should tell us what pedals you’re using. Some will be good in the loop and others will not. I will say that distortion/fuzz never really sounds good in an fx loop, for reasons including those described by Cryabetes. So yeah, whaddaya got?
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberI do not have this gap problem with the SMMH.
Sadly I find that EHX pedals do not behave the same from product to product. I do love this pedal though. Looping the delayed sounds is a big deal.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberRoland EV5 or Boss EV500 or M-Audio.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberOK so I tried this. I can not get more than 3 seconds on the 1sec+reverse regardless of settings for delay time, repeats, and decay. It never bothered me before. I still don’t think it bothers me, but it definitely does not play back 6 seconds.
June 5, 2010 at 3:37 pm in reply to: Any thoughts on powering my Russian Big Muff via battery clip to a power chain? #104087The Ghost of Sim TutMemberI had my sovtek green muff powered the same way, with no problems at all. Tape is your friend in the way Hammy describes. Only problem I ever encountered was when I put another analog fuzz (ABsynth) on the same daisy chain, got some hum. So I just linked it to a different onespot. I use 2 to power 7 pedals.

Ooh, I will try that.
i’d totally want to see your face when you hear that
it sounds like… angels playing harps made from awesomeness… in a big cave
(play around with repeats and blend alot!)
So I gave this a try. Wonderful! Since you couldn’t see my face it looked like this:  , which is how my face often looks, with hearts flying off it. Strange condition. But anyway, after my Fuzzhugger Phantom Octave the sound was floating through my house and just destroying everything. I need to paint my walls now. Good tip.
Point is there are many new things to discover in this very cool delay.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberSo gary, did you work it out?
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberI don’t have the Enigma but I think every pedal benefits from an expression pedal when possible. I’m sure the Roland EV5 will work well as it does with my Ring Thing.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberThat flange is sweet. Yeah I love this pedal.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberHmm, yeah I guess I’ve never counted but now I’m curious. I’ll try some things when I get home.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberDude I’m totally getting one (or two) of these, for all this knob twiddling
