The Ghost of Sim TutMember
Is it as stupid as signing up to the site specifically to respond to a comment posted 3 years ago, by a guy we all like, who was sharing his experience with another guy we all like?
If you’ve been playing 30 years, that means you’re a grownup. No need to be rude.

Thanks for this. I was about to pay someone to put an fx loop in my Freeze, but it looks like that won’t be necessary.
February 5, 2012 at 7:38 pm in reply to: Suggestion: The EHX Effectology Pedal. The first EHX programmable pedal #116915The Ghost of Sim TutMemberI’m already selling stuff to one day buy this.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberThis is excellent! Q-Tron+ is my favorite pedal for guitar and bass. It has a great voice but it helps when you feed good music into it. Thanks for posting.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberDude, “The Key” is really cool. Seasick is a good description for the trem. But the song is awesome, good job.
Seems pretty quiet ’round here lately.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberYou know, by deleting the spambot “notcathy” my awesome joke above doesn’t make sense any more. The spambots give us context.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberWait a minute wait a minute. It’s NOTcathy that likes king leon’s. I can’t stand that broad. If actualcathy likes it I’ll give it a chance.

First time I heard it so many years ago I thought something was wrong with my CD. Then I instead realized something was wrong with every other music I’ve ever heard. An all time fave.
Now I need to check out this King Leon’s. Sounds intriguing .
February 17, 2011 at 7:43 pm in reply to: This is my favorite album of the year so far. . . lots of EHX usage #114357The Ghost of Sim TutMemberLove Deerhoof. Gotta go pick this up.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberExcellent, Carmine. And thanks for throwing in the microPog. Maybe you saw my other thread, where I suggested EHX makes a Freeze/POG variant to add -1 octave drones.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberYeah you can basically play your own bass line. Since it’s my dream I’d love to also have the octave multiplexer or an analog octave in there too.
The Ghost of Sim TutMemberQuote:Quote:VERY nice. I am dying for a freeze and don’t know what’s taking me so long. I received a Baglama Saz from Turkey as a gift and I am learning my way around it. Very inspiring vid.I also have a baglama saz from Turkey!
I tune mine CGC (sometimes DAD) it’s a really easy tuning to get started and have fun, I’m learning my way around it too.It sounds great with the freeze pedal too! Want me to make a little demo?

YUP.

The Ghost of Sim TutMemberNice! I was gonna post the 2001/Echos thing. I’ve done it several times and it’s super cool.
November 9, 2010 at 7:01 pm in reply to: Q-Tron+ (And additional pedals) for $250. Worth it? #112486The Ghost of Sim TutMemberI paid $100 used for my old style QTron+ and would buy one every year at that price if I had to. A new Q+ is only like $150 I think but I love the sheet metal style. The line 6 and tubescreamer probably make it overall a good deal. I don’t know anything of the other pedals that are offered but it seems like a solid deal, assuming they all work.
