    Even Radio Shack carries it. Get Caig De-Oxit if you can find it. A bit more expensive but it’s good stuff.

    The problem could be the switch. You can use a multimeter to troubleshoot it.

    According to Voodoo Labs’ site, the max current supplied by any 9vdc outlet is 250mA. The EHX Hog ships with a 9vdc, 500mA power supply. From this, I would imagine the Hog requires at least 300mA to operate correctly.

    The short answer: I don’t think it will.

    Yeah, on this one they sound like a digitech pds series delay someone has messed with the trim pots on, or a bit crusher in teh fx loop of a digital delay. there is dirty and there is this one.

    It far far far dirtier then my other delays from that time period [couple digitech racks, pds8000, etc]. It sound more like my PDS20/20 that I’ve adjusted the trims on. Actually it sounds JUST like it.

    Does this sound broken to you? Do you know anyone who could referb it for me? Does anyone?

    The repeats are not as clean as on the reissue. The reissue has an ultra-clean repeat.

    They’re completely different circuits. The vintage unit uses a CMOS IC, the 4049, similar to the Tube Sound fuzz in Craig Anderton’s DIY book.

    I’m sure those listed at Mouser would work fine. Let us know if that’s the case.

    As an alternative, you could pick up a can of neoprene rubber coating compound and make your own.

    Adding more pics to my site has been a “to-do” thing on my list for quite a while. I try to link products on the EH product list to pics that are already being used in the articles but I know I’m way behind on that. Give me time and I’ll have it caught up.
