The EH ManModerator
I think there may be some minor revisions to the circuit but nothing I’d consider major.
The EH ManModeratorYeah, I’ll get you a pic. Also found a RonSound Bluesfrenzy pic.
I have some catalogs w/ Wabash Big Muffs, but not Electra. Maybe they only did Small Stones for Electra.
The EH ManModeratorReal standard EH pedals rebranded for a distributor. I’ve got the Marveltone booster (LPB-1). Same deal as the Guild Foxey Lady pedals.
The EH ManModeratorYours is half the size of the 2000 version and it’s true-bypass.
The EH ManModeratorQuote:i paid $350. i really have no idea what these things are actually worth, but i dont think anyone really does. how often do these get sold? i dont think ive never seen one sell and ive scanned through ebay a few times a week for years. either way, given 70s muffs sell for $350 any day of the week, i think that price was pretty on point if not an outright deal. hard to say. either way im totally stoked. its one of those ‘it is what is is, and how often do you see it’ things. ive seen some of the other pedals from this era with $600-900 price tags, both selling and nonselling. so who knows.dunno how it sounds yet, i saw it listed on GC’s used gear listings and called the store. paid by CC and theyre shipping it for free.
Sounds like a fair price to me. That’s about what I paid for mine years ago.
The EH ManModeratorQuote:OMG, you bought this in a guitar center?in florida??? someone around here is gonna be sad thay missed that!!!
Specifically, Fender&EHX4ever;
The EH ManModeratorQuote:it looks like a fake… tell you what, i’ll take it off your hands to spare you any further embarrassment.seriously though, it looks great!
i think what we all want to know though is:1. what does it sound like?
2. how much did it cost? It’s the real deal, folks. Check out info here:

January 18, 2009 at 4:11 am in reply to: My vintage Deluxe Memory Man has a dead 220v/??? power supply – what do I need? 24V/100mA output? +/- of power supply contact? #91042The EH ManModeratorOr on Ebay, probably locally.
The EH ManModeratorLooks like there was a redesign. Maybe they printed the circuit boards backwards
The EH ManModeratorQuote:Thanks. I just thought of another ? Can you give me the values of the pots so I can check to see if they’re correct? Thanks.
MJ
Color: 10K
Rate: 1M
Range: 100KI took these values from a schematic for a vintage Electric Mistress but I believe it’s the same for the newer ones.
The EH ManModeratorQuote:My new power supply has Output Voltage 12V DC 12.0VA and Output Current 12V – 1000mA. So in my case does it mean that it’s impossible to use it with Black Finger?Correct. You need to find one that outputs 12VAC, 1000mA. In the meantime, you should just use a 220 – 110 stepdown transformer to use the original adapter.
The EH ManModeratorI would check the solder joints where the pot connects to the circuit board.
The EH ManModeratorPolarity doesn’t matter since it uses AC power and not DC. Just make sure your new adapter supplies AC and enough current and you’ll be good to go.
The EH ManModeratorQuote:Quote:It’s likely an Issue H board (5 op-amps / 4 transistors). Essentially, it’s the same as the Issue J, just earlier by a year or 2. The burned resistor is a 47 ohm. What’s the date code on the pot? I’d like to add it to my list.
Does anyone have a schematic of the Issue H? http://www.ronsound.com has one, but they want $5 for it…
I’ll have a look at the pot code this evening and try to get better pictures of the front and bottom of the PCB.
Thanx for the help so far!
RonSound is me. The small charge helps me to buy more schematics and pay for my hosting. If you went to musicparts.com they’d charge you $15.
I don’t think the Fs have anything to do with Issue.
