100% is all the way up.

I don’t think it would be terribly difficult to turn a Dunlop or Ernie Ball wah housing into an expression pedal.

So it also has an LED? Not a dead giveaway since someone could’ve added one. Just did that myself to an 80’s unit.

Quick way to tell reissue from vintage:

On the right hand side of the Rate knob
    RATE: vintage
    STATUS: reissue

Yes, the power supply requires a positive tip, both the vintage units and the NYC (big box) reissue.

Mine was too. But was there ever a vintage Freq An in the deluxe enclosure, or did they only use the dlx encl for the reissues?

The vintage FA did use the Deluxe enclosures for a while but I’m not sure when the changeover took place. I have a “What’s New” column from Keyboard magazine 1983 that shows the old-style enclosure but why it’s new when it had been on the market since at least 1975 is beyond me. My Deluxe-boxed unit is dated 1983 on the pots. That one on ebay has the earlier knobs. Assuming the knobs are original it would be from 1978 or so at the latest.
I don’t see how it could run on 2 9v batteries. The internal power supply puts out +/-15vdc. Possibly for foreign consumption?

When EHX was planning the reissue FA Mike contacted me to borrow my vintage unit. After they finished with it they sent it back then Mike called a day or 2 later asking for it again since they forgot to copy the artwork. In return I got a brand new reissue FA from the first batch.

    Woooo!! Squidbillies!!!

There’s no easy way to do it. It goes to the pad just to the left and below the electrolytic cap.

They’re not available new in the EU due to their non-ROHs compliance (not lead-free). You’ll have to either find a used one or have a new one shipped from the states.
If you’re going to Russia maybe you can look up the factory and get one.

I believe the Worm’s power supply is 24vdc so unless your pedal power supply can supply this, you’re stuck w/ the wall wart.

First off, check your AC adapter and make sure it’s working.

If it’s good, fire off an email to EHX here: https://www.ehx.com/about/contact

If you bought it new then it’s still under warranty. Contact EHX for details on sending it back.

They might be, but I don’t know what replacement vs. originals look like. They look like knobs with the points on them that i’ve seen on other pictures of this model. I’ll just attach some pics after work and you can let me know if they have screws, or i’m just paranoid and afraid to use a little elbow grease. lol.

If it has set screws there will be a little hole on the side opposite the pointer. The screws are in there.
Can you post a pic of the circuit board in yours?

Do you have replacement knobs that are held on with set screws?

Think of it as a “Gibson EB0-in-a-box”.

Thanks for the fast response peeps, really appreciated. So, the picture isn’t too clear but it reads
    3.0A 125V AC
    1.5A 250V AC
    0.5A 125V DC

    Thanks

You’ve got one of the odd long ones. I have some very similar ones here. Are you sure the switch needs replaced? Most of the time they’re just starting to come apart and can be snapped back together. What’s the problem you’re having?

BTW, the one Ned Flanders posted a link to will work fine. With the shorter handle there’s less chance of it being bumped and broken.
