The EH ManModeratorQuote:Isn’t the 3205 a lower-current version of the 3005? Anyways, if it can be done, he could try using the V3205. It sounds close enough for most applications, though somewhat pingy.
Actually, I did mean the V3205. Sorry about any confusion.
The EH ManModeratorYou’re better off w/ separate pedals unless space is a concern. The Polychorus does all the same things, but only one at a time and not as good as any one pedal.
The EH ManModeratorI believe you can use the MN3205 but you need to switch the ground and power connections around.
The EH ManModeratorQuote:i dont think that they have, but if so what is the best way to repair thisUse the continuity function of your DMM to check continuity from the control solder pad to the next pad along the trace. If it’s open, just solder a piece of wire between the control solder pad and the other pad.
The EH ManModeratorFirst check that the pads for the pots haven’t broken loose from the rest of the traces.
The EH ManModeratorIf you’re talking about the pointer knobs they won’t work on the pot shafts you have.
EH should be able to supply you w/ a replacement pot. Drop them an email. The EH ManModeratorIf you want to bypass the power switch, take the wires (there’s 2, I think) on the switch and solder them together. Protect the solder joint w/ heat-shrink tubing or electrical tape.
The EH ManModeratorI’ve got one just like that. It’s the same thing but just doesn’t say Foxey Lady on it.
The EH ManModeratorShort answer: if all you want is a clean boost, use something else.
The EH ManModeratorThat looks like the exact same module that’s in mine.
I don’t have a schematic for the later unit so I don’t know where the Guitar input taps in.The EH ManModeratorI have one of the units w/ the guitar input. There’s a post about it here: https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewreply/3514/
It had MIDI installed by a previous owner but I’ve disconnected it.The EH ManModeratorQuote:The stock photo is not the correct plug for the LPB2UBE but I sent him a message to double check. When I hear back I will post a reply.
ThanksNot surprised since so many sellers seem to be lazy a***s. I don’t know how many times I emailed sellers about reissue Stereo Memory Man pedals only to find they actually had a later version than what was shown in the stock photo. I finally bought one today on Ebay! >> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=250393306521
The EH ManModeratorHe doesn’t have your pedal listed but the EH catalog says this is the correct one.
The EH ManModeratorIf you have an audio probe you can track the signal to see where it’s dropping out. First things first, check that your 9v is getting to the board.
