The EH ManModeratorQuote:Thanks for the replies. I should make it more clear that when I say “older”, I mean an older reissue. I think I got mine around 2000 and it had D-shaft pots and pointer knobs. One of the lugs on the volume pot broke, so I need to replace the whole thing. Would these work?http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=710&sfs=14a7e77a
I have set-screw pointer knobs already, so I figured I could just change the whole set. I don’t need vintage pots or anything like that; I just want something equal in quality to whatever is in there already. Thanks guys.
What pedal is it?
The EH ManModeratorNo, I don’t really have a source. I just watch around for old CTS pots that have the same shaft and the same open back design, buy them, and remove the shaft assemblies for replacing in vintage EH pedals. I should just contact CTS about buying a quantity of shafts.

The EH ManModeratorIf it’s just the shaft that’s broken you can easily disassemble the pot and replace the shaft. Drop me a PM and I’ll get one to you.
The EH ManModeratorHmmm. Haven’t seen a schematic for that anywhere. I’ll see if I can get time to crack mine open and help you w/ the wiring.
The EH ManModeratorLook at the bottom plate.
sharp corners = vintage
round corners = reissueThe vintage models came stock w/ a 2-wire AC cord except in Canada which had a 24vdc adapter. The early reissues had a built-in 3-wire Ac cord.
The EH ManModeratorHe has another transaction where the item wasn’t as described. Looks like he just used a pic he found somewhere instead of actually photographing his pedal. I’d be all over him on this.
The EH ManModeratorQuote:So it turns up this morning and it’s nothing like the one in the picture, it’s just a beaten up old standard RI……not f*****g happy. Waiting to hear back from seller now. 🙄Ouch!! What’s the listing for the auction?
The EH ManModeratorThey’re nice cabs. I have a 4-10 and a 4-12, both still in their boxes. I believe the stock speakers are actually Eminence.
EH still had some empty cabs available as recently as just a couple of years ago. Looks like they don’t anymore. The EH ManModeratorThey need to be formatted in FAT (Windows).
The EH ManModeratorEH still has some of the pointer knobs that fit a D-shaft but if you need the tall knob (1979 and later) it won’t fit the D-shaft pots.
The EH ManModeratorFixed your pic. I’ll have to go back thru my catalogs and see when they first showed up. I have a Mig 60 and a Tube Midget that’s still in the box.
The EH ManModeratorNobody can tell you much w/o a look at the guts. Might be transistor, might be IC. Might actually have an on/off switch instead of Tone Bypass. Post some gut shots and pot codes when you get it.
