The EH ManModerator
There are 2 inductors: FB8 (+9v) and FB9 (GND). Power then goes to cap C41, and Diode D16.
From there it goes to cap C1, regulator U3 (5v), cap C24, regulator U2 (3.3v), cap C23, and regulator U4 (1.25v) with cap C30 on the end.Good luck!

The EH ManModeratorIf it’s relatively new you can probably get it repaired under warranty. Might also be something as simple as a bad solder joint somewhere.
The EH ManModeratorDid the light go out on the pedal when the sound cut out?
The EH ManModeratorNo, you’ll need at least 250ma for POG.
The EH ManModerator`I’ve seen enough of them to know.
They all sound the same to me.
The EH ManModeratorIt’s real. It’s an older reissue.
The EH ManModeratorThat doesn’t sound good. I’d go back to the original ac adapter.
The EH ManModeratorI’ve never seen the indicator lines worn off a knob. I’d send it back for a full refund. Better to spend a bit more and know what you’re getting.
The EH ManModeratorYou should be fine. It may take a day or two to get a reply.
April 22, 2024 at 6:59 am in reply to: Classic 1978 ” The Silencer” noise gate / line noise eliminator #209811The EH ManModeratorThere’s no difference in using 2 dual opamps and the Lm324 quad opamp. The 2N3403 is probably the part number on the transistor and that’s an FET commonly used by EH at the time. Slightly different parts values are also common.
The EH ManModeratorOn my pedalboard I use a Truetone 1-Spot CS12 power supply. The EH power supply that came with my D9 pedal is 9.6 V 200 mA. The CS12 has 9v 250mA and 9V 500mA. Will I be OK using either of those options with my D9 pedal.
Either would be fine, just make sure the polarity is correct.
The EH ManModeratorI would try a new battery before doing anything else.

The EH ManModeratorIt’s a reissue. Those don’t have manufacturers date codes (not serial numbers) on the back of the pots.
The EH ManModeratorAs long as the power supplies are plugged into the correct AC voltage, the output voltage should be fine.
The EH ManModeratorEither will be fine. The 95000 original power adapter is rated at 9.6VDC-500mA, which is likely slightly higher than actually required.
