Thanks for the response Mel
Yeah, there is some astonishing stuff on youtube, but it seems that there’s an element of ‘witchcraft’ to the results. Maybe it’s something you either need to be ‘lucky’ with or devote 6 months of your life to! lol
Thought it might be something I could jam over or even use live to accompany myself.
Also, online prices seem to vary wildly, from £25 – £100! …… Strange
TenSecondTedMemberI’m halfway through a stag do.
24 hours gone, 24 hours to go.
Help!
TenSecondTedMemberQuote:EHX could have probably marketed the BBM a little differently so that guitar players knew they were going for the same sound as the Russian Muffs, not just for bass players. The whole reason I think the BBM was made was due to the fact that bass players loved the Russian Muffs. It’s definitely based on the Sovtek tone, so I think EHX already makes what you are asking for.I think that’s why they painted the BBM that ‘snot green’ colour
You’re right about the marketing though. I think they have missed a trick not being more obvious with the Russian theme. I don’t think a lot of guitar players know it sounds like a SOVTEK. They would sell Zillions more I think.

Now I need to break it gently to my wife how much extra each one costs!

Do you think it’s possible to do any of those things with a Micro Q Tron?
It’s just that I’ve asked my wife to get me one for my birthday and, after seeing your video, I don’t know whether to change and ask for a Riddle or Q Tron +
You have pushed me into a state of confusion Bill………. :worried:
TenSecondTedMemberA ‘flange’ is an edge or rim of something, in engineering terms. I think “moving the ‘edge’ of the tape as it runs” sounds perfectly plausible as an origin of the word flanger.
By the way, I’m so much more flanger than phaser. How about you guys?
TenSecondTedMemberQuote:i like tremolo after delays – as it sounds ‘clearer’ that way; if you have tremolo going in to delay it can end up sounding really messy…
same thing with other modulation (chorus and flanger)…
but as your plan is to have two delays, i’d put all of your modulation (besides the PH-3) between the delays so you have lots of options.Hey Kevin, I LOVE the ‘2 delay’s with modulation in the middle’ idea !
Might have to pick up a Memory Toy and give it a try.

Last Shadow PuppetsTenSecondTedMemberI’m with you on the wah idea. Lots of versions in one enclosure – with an option to switch to a volume pedal. I’d buy one tomorrow.
TenSecondTedMemberAgreed!
Wonder if that is going to be the new format for future EHX demo videos?
TenSecondTedMemberI don’t have one but I’m pretty sure it’s the same size as the Hazarai
