I expect you to post his debut album here in 3 months.
TangoMemberI’m a bassist (primarily) and I like me my Ibanez’s. I’m weird like that I guess.
TangoMemberI don’t feel like an EHX guitar would be a good idea unless they do something revolutionary with it. Inbuilt effects is nothing new, and (rather needlessly) confines the effect to 1 guitar at a fixed spot in the effect chain.

Something like 1 input, 3 outputs for low, mid, and high frequencies, 2 knobs to control the cutoff between low-mid and mid-high. It would allow for some interesting combinations. Maybe pair it with a 3 input 1 (or 2) output mixer stompbox. That way you can send each frequency though a separate signal chain. That’s the basic idea anyway, I’m sure there are other useful things you could add.

I’m talking chorus, flanger, delay, tremolo, vibe, etc. Imagine a bass, rhythm and lead guitar with all of their effects tightly synced. If these pedals existed, tap tempo would be the perfect addition for the ultimate versatility. Like I said, I don’t know if anyone would care about this or if it’s even possible in a profitable manner, but I thought I’d throw it out there. Cheers.Build in a MIDI-sync perhaps? That strikes me as one of the simpler solutions, as then you can maintain a continuous change in effect speed rather than it jumping between increments.
As far as stuff I’d like to see,
-Instrument vocoder – essentially like the Frantone Glacier’s line-in effect, but affordable and done EHX style.-a lot of people seem to want a tuner. I’m not particularly keen on the idea, as to me a tuner is relatively trivial, but what about an auto-tune stompbox? I know the effect is overused, but I can still see some interesting possibilities (auto-tune fretless bass or slide guitar anyone?)
-freeze pedal – takes a short sample of the sound being played at the moment the pedal is depressed and replays it until the pedal is released (or maybe have it tap-on/tap-off), to much the same effect as the sostenuto pedal on a keyboard
That all I can pull off the top of my head.
TangoMemberWill it be able to vocode the instrument signal, or is it strictly a vocal effects processor?
