You aren’t giving the Time Bender enough credit if you think this. I really like the SMMwH, but it doesn’t blow me away and I find the delay to be a bit sterile. The looper on the other hand is amazing. The Time Bender is amazing. So many sounds and possibilities that I didn’t think a delay pedal could do.
I know Digitech gets a bad wrap, but after EHX it is my second favourite company. Besides the bypass issue on some of the older pedals I don’t see any problems. I love my Whammy, RV-7, and even digidelay. Not to mention my first pedal which was a multi-effects unit (RP-3) which introduced me to the crazy world of pedals.
Though not pictured I do have footswitch. I just don’t normally use it a lot because I usually only use the step bend and gliss. I find it handy but you’ll be okay if you don’t have it.

SupremePancake, can you say a little about the sound in the video? Is that thru an amp and camcorder mic or are you recording direct? I love the idea of demoing the pedal with a loop, so we can really understand the sweep of the controls, instead of just a few discrete settings.

I use a really basic setup. Just a AKG D-22 mic on the amp that goes into a studio dell. At least for the Flanger Hoax demos. The rest of my youtube demos are just laptop mic.
I really like the looping idea for pedals like these. I have a HOG as well and when I demo that I’ll probably do one with a looper.
