st.bedeMemberQuote:I just bought the pedal. I loooooooove it.
here’s a sample of the more “extreme” things it can do.
http://www.marysmonster.com/pedals/MBbass.mp3
I just set it for a short delay and put the clean blend at 11 o clock.
sounds kinf od rockabilly-ish
then you hear me crank the feedback to full.
then I crank up the depth to full with the square wave selected set to chorus
what you end up with is a self oscillating rhythmic pattern that I can actually play over without changing!
Just bass into one of my Muff clones into memory boy into the computer no layering or multitracking AT ALL!
Cool

I have a buch of pedals in both areas so, I really can not say “which one do I need?” so, all being equal…you say: riddle….thank you
st.bedeMemberthis post has been a nice read…..I am going to guess…if you want typical deleys use a MM but want strange sounds use a MB….but, when I get my MB I will then be able to see if this is a right assesment…
st.bedeMemberthe SP is a very nice comp pedal…it does something a little different then the other comp pedals I have and it is very musical….I like what the OP said “adds tone to tone”…
st.bedeMemberthank for your review ghost and also dmc77….(I could easily justify $90 for weird sound alone but that is me…)
st.bedeMemberI am so glad the EH is not going to go all digital w/ deley stuff…..what can I say, good job…..MB very nice
st.bedeMemberno comments?????? hmmmmmm….peace
st.bedeMemberQuote:here’s my last experiment with the hoax…and muff’s…very hip…thanks
st.bedeMemberthank you for the review
st.bedeMemberIt is a completly killer pedal….. here is a little you tube vid of mine used in a song (I have yet to finish)…peace: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vbck7O6wpo&feature=channel_page
st.bedeMemberQuote:Like the Frequency Analyzer, it’s a pedal that begs you to find creative or unconventional applications for it.I like placing it in the effect loop of the Qtron+. It sounds great when playing staccato rhythmic lines into a delay. I also like to use it with my Sonic Boomer drum to get a fat kick sound.
Here’s a soundclip where I use it with a Crying Tone Wah: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7486247
too cool of an idea….enjoyed the clips too…peace
st.bedeMember:thumb: any clips or vids?….I will give it a try (mine are reissue). thanks
st.bedeMembervery cool…(I love a whole bunch of EH peals with dist.)
st.bedeMemberQuote:Keep the small clone and get the flanger hoax. you can get pretty much any flanging or phasing sounds with it.I have to admit (owning: small clone, deluxe electric mistress, polychorus, flanger hoax) that the flanger hoax is really cool but, it is a bit of a beast when it comes to understanding…also, another strange demo from me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAOV8MD5iWg&feature=channel_page and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62guMsuGyrM&feature=channel
st.bedeMemberIMHO the ddmuff is a particular pedal…when it works with a combination of guitar and amp it works great but when it doesn’t it really doesn’t….here is a demo of a number of different OD/Dist pedals from me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZH9-QeRR_04&feature=channel_page and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz2GClVCxDc&feature=channel
