Hey Dark…yeah, that’s why I have the Carbon Copy on my board. It handles the longer times (up to 800ms) I never need anything beyond that. My board has finally gotten to the point where I’m happy with it. Not much more I need, especially for the band I’m in now.
srouxMemberQuote:What is that echodeluxe?Willem..
That’s an Antech Echoluxe. It’s a full analog echo capable of around 350ms.
It was an attempt to emulate a tape echo, specifically the Echoplex. It really does sound close to the Exchoplex. There’s a Tape Saturation knob the gives you some of that grain and dirt that you typical got from a tape echo when hit the preamp with a hot signal. The repeats are nice and “warm”.
It has a “Mod” switch than when activated puts the Echoluxe into single repeat mode. They don’t make many of the Echoluxe’s. It’s a pretty low run pedal, well built, and it sounds killer. It totally nails the early Sun records sound, which is great for me as I play in a rockabilly band, and that’s pretty much the sound we try to emulate.
srouxMemberHey guys…
Here’s a pic of mine. It’s a bit light on EHX products.
I have had many EXH boxed over the years, but currently I’m just using a Stereo Pulsar and a Nano Holy Grail. -
