Oh…I think I get your meaning. I could use an AB to only have one signal hitting the Ravish without compromising the tone by being in the chain ?

Thanks for the tips. I noticed the single coils do effect it. I love the personality of individual pedals or else I would go with a multiple fx unit. What would the AB do? Ravish sounds fine on its own. Thanks again.

This is the set up I’ve been using…Orange amp>Holy Grail>Digitech Digital Delay>Ravish>Tremolo Pedal>MXR Blue Box>Boss Phase Shifter>VooDoo Fuzz>Boss Tuner>Rickenbacker Jet Glo. I’ve Just Acquired a Meistro G2 Rhythm ‘N Sound and now the ravish is compromised a bit(loosing some tone). The G2 is at the end…jut before my Ric. Any Tips??? Anyone??? The Ravish still gives off a lot of amp hiss anywhere in the chain but fine on its own.

Thanx. I haven’t but will. It’s too bad there aren’t many users of the Ravish…I’d like to hear about different pedal board configurations. I think it may be a normal for the pedal to hiss a bit though…in the FAQs : “Some modulation effects do have a certain amount of noise that is acceptable to the manufacturer and cant be removed, be sure this is not what you are mistaking for a problem pedal. The types of noise include: Hissing and minor clicking etc. This is perfectly normal and acceptable by most users.” The pedal is awesome tho…with the lead turned down it can be used for serious drones and gets really intense with an expression pedal. Thank you for your reply.

I just recently picked this baby up and it is AWESOME……But, It gives my Orange Amp a pretty loud hiss (when turned up moderately loud) both engaged and in (buffered?) bypass. The only way to combat this is to unplug the thing altogether. I currently have it at the end of my pedal chain after or before my tuner…It doesn’t seem to matter where I put it…I still get a hiss. Any suggestions??? Is the RAVISH I bought defective or is it just a beast??? Any chain suggestions???? HELP…THANX!

    Any Help???
