I use the 1-Spot combo pack and it works fine with my DXMB

Mine is around that too…other videos I’ve seen people put it at twelve to one o’clock and it still sounds line-level…wonder if they’re cranking the gain on their amp or something. Thanks for the reply

Thanks for all the feedback…I wish I had a tube-amp, but I’m not gonna buy one online because s/h is just rubbish out here in the Pacific (I live on Guam)

Thanks…I was thinking of doing that with the distortion pedals awhile back, but I got high and kept jamming some jazz pregression over and over, hehe. Also, thanks about the electrical interference feedback. I’m about to slowly switch out each distortion one by one to see what’s hissing, thanks a bunch…

I was using power from the LS-2, but I stopped that. With the pedals in the effects loop, I’m using a 1-Spot power supply daisy chain. And all my pedals in front of the amp are powered by either their specific power supply or my DC-Brick.

Barra Rock, I haven’t tried each pedal on its own kus that’s just too time-consuming. Also, I feel I know enough about pedals to get me by without having to test-run each pedal by itself. I just have to figure out if it’s a bad cord or a routing situation.

    Thanks for the feedback

Are you using a power supply or an actual 12-volt power supply?

I never owned an envelope filter until I bought my Q-Tron+ a few months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Wah pedals are fun because you control the Q with your feet, but an envelope filter reacts to your TRUE playing style and picking dynamics. I, for example, really enjoy slapping and popping on guitar, and an envelope filter works just great with that playing style…hope this helped you out

How can you put the TubeKing in your effects loop? Isn’t putting a distortion or gain-based effect in the effects loop of an amp harmful to the amp itself?

I want to use this to drive a bigger pedal that requires more output into it than my single coil Strat pickups put out. I’m hoping this will do the trick by increasing the db output significantly.

This is true, my main guitar is a 60th Anniversary Fender American Deluxe, and the LPB does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If I engage the S-1 switching and roll off the volume of my guitar…such sweet tone. The other application I found was leveling betweeing my regular Fender tone with the LPB on, and my S-1 switching engaged with the LPB off. So I kinda use it to switch between the two tones provided on my guitar alone, instead of having to switch out my Strat for a Humbucker-equipped axe.
