About splitting, it’s not necessary as MIX mode supports well the bass’ (dry) signal, so the loss is mostly of the effect. About the compressor, I always have one in the beginning of the chain, and so do at the end (since the amplifier’s got a compressor/limiter). The amp also has a very effective EQ, but except of that, i tried putting in chain EHX Steel Leather for more attack. The problem still insists tho. The strange thing is that noone ever had an issue of loosing low-end especially on Low-Pass mode.. (at least i still havent found any complaint about it)
