Yep, it’s a series loop (no way of adjusting the level of wetness of the signal).

I asked this in the HCFX forum, now I’ll copy/paste it here…

Questions:

1. Can I use it in the effects loop of my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe? I read some people saying there was a volume drop in the effects loop…

2. There are two inputs. Can I use the main input for my guitar signal and the other input for plugging, say, a synth so I could loop some beats?

Ok, tried it last night and didn’t have any problems… WTF? I’ll do the contact cleaner thing, because I like my gear to be 100% reliable.

Funny, I just got my Stereo Pulsar yesterday, and tried it last night at the rehearsal space!

It’s very different from the Dano Tuna Melt (which I was using until recently; good cheap trem, but the knobs were too small and the switch annoying…). The rate knob is SUPER sensitive (so much that I might have to mark my sweet spot with masking tape and a Sharpie…), and I haven’t had time to experiment with the wave shaping. No volume problems to my ears (and it was tested in a live band setting).

I already love it!
