Good news, did a cheap fix for the time being. I added a metal washer borrowed from a BOSS pedal to both the input and output jacks. Fixed the problem 100%.
I will eventually open her up and jump a wire from the volume pot to the input jack ground. But it works for now.skywizardMemberQuote:I’m no expert but I have read about grounding problems with this pedal. What version is it? Supposedly the first version wasn’t grounded.http://www.tdpri.com/forum/stomp-box/80208-little-big-muff-pi-case-not-grounded.html
That explains it perfectly. Going to try the fix tonight. Most probably got the V1. I guess it was NOS when I bought it.
skywizardMemberI can, three hour road trip, fun! But with the price of gas might be easier to just bin it. It really kicks, but I can’t keep a foot on it to use it. That would be retarded.

Only using a 9v. I haven’t tried it on AC yet. I have a BOSS PSA 120S

Just having the pedal in the chain makes it hum. It’s worse when the effect is off. The only way I can get it to stop is to touch it with bare skin. This is with any knob in any position.
skywizardMemberAnyone ever sort this? I have the same issue on a brand new Little Big Muff. Love the sound, hate playing with no socks on and my foot on the box.
