Have you had a chance to read over my last post. I have this file, but I can’t send it…too big.

    Thanks!

    David

Upload the file somewhere else, like goear, or one of those sites. I can’t recall anymore right now.

100 mA should be more than enough. Overdrive/fuzz/distortion pedals dont take too much A’s. Most of ’em consume from 4 to not over 25mA. Maybe if you email ehx?

you could do this with a HOG

For HOG, you’d have just the original slider up as well as the dry slider, and you’d have it set for a slow attack envelope and have the expression on freeze + volume.

Or you could do the delay thing

agree’d on the HOG. The sg-1 does something different, or at least not what this guy wants (as far as I have understood)

Alltogether, mixing my music with my brother’s (both pc’s iTunes) we have aprox. 18-20GB. I could never have like 80GB, that would be too much.

Going back to the topic, and answering to jesse: I would buy it, totally would. I love mixing weird pedals, and FX loops are a great way to archieve this one. Imagine, idk, lets say a fuzz, or a ring mod inside the dmb loop, and the dmb inside the qtron+ loop (or vice versa). That would be strange (and would have lots of patch cables). Unfortunately, I don’t have the $$$. Luckily I’m trying to get a job. I really want to. Summer is coming here, and there is not too much to fill in 12 hours of the day, so 5 to 8 hours of hard work will keep me focused.

You know the input is on the left and the output is on the right I assume? I’ve had this symptom from plugging in a pedal backwards once….I dont recal which pedal it was but it wasn’t a big muff.

I once plugged it incorrectly and it did not work for some seconds and then at low volume. It just did not work, at any given volume. Symptoms show that there could be a power problem? or maybe with an internal component, like a cap or something. I really don’t know, I’m not a tech, but I do own a Russian bmp (small enclosure), and it doesn’t seem like wrong plugging as far as I can guess. Anyone with a little bit more of experience? Btw, is it the small box version? Because you said its v8 and the small, but I can’t recall which version is which. (In other words, which version is the bigger black one).

another thing is that my friend who wants to sing also wants to play the guitar. but he doesnt know rythem and timing. i’ll try to teach him the easiest blink-182 song with four chords and when we play it together he always either falls behind or speeds up too much. even when we tried playing along with the cd, he still had no idea how to count the time and change chords. he’s not a very good guitar player. so now im trying to start another band with my other friend, but we still need a drummer. i asked my friend who plays bass and said he would be in the band, but we asked our friend that is a drummer and he said no. theres just no drummers that want to be in a band where i live. i hate it!

I totally understand you. I know no drummers (at least good and aviliable). Plus, I want to make a band playing guitar, as I said before, but I’m the only bassist I know.

The resistor value depends on the ohm law, based on the led’s specs provided by the manufacturer, and also on how shiny you want it to be.

As far as I go, had 1 band that didn’t work out. Now I’m with another one, that we did a couple of rehearsals but I don’t like the drummer. On both I play bass. And finally I have this good friend who plays the guitar and we both want to make a band, or something like so, both on guitar but we need a bassist and a drummar, but there is no hurry. With this guy, oh man, all the improvs that we make are so magical.

Keep on describing it, I can’t get your idea yet, but seems like you want to switch on and off the pedals from one looper, with multiple switches. Does each switch turns on and off just one pedal? It seems you could build it yourself.

Yeah, but I mean to make fx loops, not a sampler.

I was talking about this one: http://www.diyguitarist.com/Images/FX-Looper.JPG
