I have a very similar issue with my 720 looper. It just adds a noticeable amount of white noise to my signal chain. It at least doubles, maybe triples it so there’s certainly no denying what I’m hearing. I’ve tried multiple different cables, isolated power supplies, wall warts, amps, guitars, soloing it, everything. I assumed I got a defective unit so I returned it at the dealer’s expense. Now I feel bad for doing that because I ordered another one from a different dealer and it’s doing the exact same thing. I’m pretty annoyed about it ESPECIALLY because there’s practically no mention of it (except here) online or in reviews. Have people really NOT noticed this? Or did I somehow get sent two faulty units in a row from independent dealers?

EHX, as a lifelong repeat customer of your products (you should see my collection!) I’d really appreciate some kind of rectification of this issue. Either a replacement unit that doesn’t have this problem, a repair, or a refund! If it wasn’t for this static noise I would be absolutely floored with the 720, but a significant increase in the noise floor is a deal breaker…
