rraymmarquezMemberQuote:Hi there
I’ve just bought a new ehx 720 and same thing happens: strange digital noise in the recordings: tried several guitars, amps and ehx power supplies with no difference….
Anybody has this issue sorted out?
Are there a bunch of malfunctioning units?there’s a YT video that perfectly shows the issue >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3O70ZJ1mjo
Any help from EHX?
thanks
unfortunately, you have a bad unit; return it to the store and ask for another one; that’s how i solved my the problem with mine
rraymmarquezMemberQuote:Sorry. Sounds like a bad unit.it actually was; the guys at the store told they were gonna changed it, but unfortunely the 720 was out of stock, so now, i’ll have to wait a month!
rraymmarquezMemberQuote:Are you using the power supply that came with the unit. Try not daisy chaining and pedals with it. Try it by it self.
Also record a loop and while recording turn the volume on your guitar all the way down. If the noise stops it is getting in through the guitar.
If there still is a problem please exchange or contact service.

i only used the power supply that came with the unit; also tried the pedal by itself; and also, it wasn’t noise frm the guitar
i took it to the store a couple of hours ago, they told me they gonna give me another unit, but unfortunely the 720 it’s out of stock, so i just have to wait ’til they have it on stock
rraymmarquezMemberit’s weird; i moved all around the house and the same noise exist, somebody told me it was clipping, but i was playing clean, and i use a squier jaguar. i don’t have any LEDs or flourescent lights at my house
i’ve seen several people addresing this issue, maybe a bad batch from EHX? i’ll try it at my work to see if something changes
