Same here. In another thread, EHX says the engineer who wrote the code for the 22500 is deeply involved in other projects. It’s not clear whether they intend on updating the 22500, if it’s actually scheduled, or why someone else can’t do it. I simply think it’s not a priority, which is a shame since this pedal could really take off.
I’m going to purchase my next looper when I return to the US and it’s between the Boss RC-300 and this one completely dependent on this feature. A lot of thought seemingly went into the 22500 but I guess they decided to leave out this feature for live-use…
It’s now 2017 and still no update..?
I’ve been keeping track of this issue for the past 5-6 months. Finally am about to pull the trigger on a looper but this is literally the one thing that’s holding me back from buying this one. Otherwise, it’s got everything I’m looking for. But inability to delete loops on the fly really impedes on using this thing in a live or band practice setting. I’m seeing DOZENS of responses *just* on this particular issue and EHX doesn’t seem to have budged on a relatively simple update.
