@ehxguy11 : I have no other solution unless EHX kindly propose a replacement.
I’ll still wait for the answer of their support before attempting to fix it by myself. Hope I get it today…
Hi gestaltito,
Thanks for the advice man!
I began tweaking the internal trimpots yesterday night, and after moving three of them I finally got rid of the noise… But now I only have the flanger position working. The filter, chorus, and delay have almost no incidence on the signal except some saturation.
With 7 trimpots inside the polychorus, there’s a great deal of possibilities before finding the good setting that will work with every effect.
Any chance you could take a gutshot of your reissue Polychorus?
That’d be a priceless info for all people having trouble with this bloody noise…
Thanks for the info mate. Still waiting for the answer from EHX…
Hi,
I have the same problem with my Polychorus, even when it is the only pedal in the chain.
I have just written EHX about it.
Other guys have been complaining about this matter in this topic : https://www.ehx.com/forums/viewthread/731/
No news from EHX guys…
I’ll keep you posted!
I have the same freakin problem!! This hissing noise is really annoying!
Can someone from EHX bring an answer?
Somebody there?…
