Tried it on my 60’s Northland head through a Mitchell 2×10 sand cab, does nice things through that. The sound is usually really dark and sludgy, but the bird really made it crisp. So I take back my first post and maybe just mount this thing right on the amp.
redelevatorMemberI just got mine in the mail….not too sure, a bit extreme for my taste, not sure I was ready for how harsh it is. I don’t really like having to re-eq my amp (an Egnator Rebel 30) to use it. The sound is very piercing even with the tone controls on my amp and guitar cranked down. I have a Fuzz Factory, an OCD, a Rat 2, and a Double Muff, I like the sound of all four by themselves and the Bird was just painfull combined with each one. I would like to try it with a Big Muff, guessing it would sound good with the Screaming Bird. Anyway, I think my ears are bleeding.

redelevatorMemberyet another great pedal that i just can’t live without.
redelevatorMemberyears ago i had a vox amp that had tremelo built in and the effect became essential to my electric sound. well i swapped out the amp for a much larger marshall and tried a number of tremelo pedals to replace that sound until i found the pulsar and i have never looked back.
redelevatorMemberI just got one of these for christmas from my wife and so far I love it. I have tried alot of different overdrives and this one has a great sound.
