Once I had both of them, I turned them on together with a nice feedbacking fuzz… I suddenly didn’t want a Polychorus anymore. :thumb:
PumpkinPiecesMemberI like fuzz…
PumpkinPiecesMemberI love my English Muff’n. I use it as a pre-amp at the end of my chain with the bass cranked for a thick clean tone with a hint of dirt. All of my pedals sound amazing going through it.
Hope you’re enjoying yours!
PumpkinPiecesMemberQuote:Big Muff into a Pog sounds awful 😆Well thats how Jack White runs his if i’m not mistaken. I like my octavers before fuzz too, so I found it odd when I saw a photo of his muff->pog.
PumpkinPiecesMemberQuote:jack used a pog just set your pog2 1 octave downActually if you listen closely there’s an octave up blended in there as well.
I don’t have a POG but I’d try -1 octave up almost all the way, clean blended full, and octave up blended in to taste.
Also he but the Big muff before the POG in his pedal sequence so Big Muff->POG.
PumpkinPiecesMemberJust do it, if I and others can pummel a 50dbs clean boost into our pedals I doubt a synth can hurt it.
PumpkinPiecesMemberJust got done vandalizing my new Big Muff. The “I kill russians” is a joke between friends on NYC vs. Russian Muffs.
PumpkinPiecesMemberI played a 50’s Fender Music Master, beat to hell through a Blackheart amp and fell in love. My new dream guitar is a vintage Music Master.
As far as what I’ve owned, my Gibson SG classic (p-90s) is my favorite, it has been my dream guitar and has a very classic rock and roll sound… I guess thats why it’s a called SG Classic. But none the less with the neck pick up and a Big Muff into a lightly driven tube amp gives me more than enough for my two piece.
PumpkinPiecesMemberQuote:lol are you serious? three big muffs?sweet selection anyway
correction: 4 big muffs.
PumpkinPiecesMemberQuote:Quote:Quote:i just saw a Godzilla fuzz… probably the coolest pedal graphics i’ve ever seen!Devi Ever is just wicked… tasty, but pricey
Really?
Devi Evers are the cheapest boutique effects I’ve ever come across. You can get a custom made double fuzz pedal for less than any single analogman pedal… $95 for a new handmade pedal is also quite the deal, not to mention the new $75 Soho fuzz.Tell me more about this Soho Fuzz! I can’t find it on her site.

PumpkinPiecesMemberQuote:does your big muff say “I kill Russians”?because thats what it looks like.
Yeah two of my friends have russian big muffs and are also frontmen of their bands, so it was a joke towards them.
and the mid-fi box is a clarinot.
PumpkinPiecesMemberI really want a heaven’s gate (whenever its released), it compliments the memory boy quite well. =]
PumpkinPiecesMemberStill working on a good order and selection. I’m having a lot of fun playing around and what not.
PumpkinPiecesMemberThanks guys, glad you liked it. I think its noise sessions like these made my room-mate at the time not enjoy my presence. 😆
PumpkinPiecesMemberQuote:I don’t think the Germ OD was ever intended to be a high gain pedal with sustain. It’s more of a boost pedal that pushes your amp a bit for some added crunch and dirt. The ability to starve the voltage is a bonus missing from most boost pedals of this nature, and adds a bit of crackly fizz to the tone. I would appreciate it as such, and try not to think of it as a distortion or fuzz.This.
