Your description make me think of Flanger Hoax + Memory Boy + Cathedral.

These are 3 really different pedals you are comparing… it’s a matter or personnal tastes and it depends how you got the other sounds covered.

    Hi Reino,

First step is to isolate the pedal. Also for minimum noise in your rig you may want a power supply such as voodoo labs (there are many brands out there). Get something with isolated grounds, or else, something with a shared ground such as your power chain won’t fix the problem.

Also try to isolate the memory boy, get it out of the fx chain and out of the power chain, to try it alone just to see if it does that just by itself.

I bet your pedal is ok!

    Hope it helps!

As a follow up to my previous suggestions to EHX, a DELUXE Superego, with an expression pedal input!

But come on, reissue the “Hotfoot”, or find me an old one on a shelf somewhere, it must be under a pile… Will buy it immediatly LOL

    IMHO,

I think you would like this pedal : https://www.ehx.com/products/superego
Superego do everything the freeze does except it’s even more controlable. Plus you get the “auto” mode and the effects loop. But for using it in and out you will have to get it in a parallel setup (if I am not mistaken).

You can also look for a “T.I.P. Third Hand”… But EHX should reissue the “Hotfoot”!!!? Don’t know if it would be a good thing, I never fooled with this kind of stuff.

Or look at this : http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/76647-my-cool-hand-built-pedal/
I should do that to my old Cry Baby…eheh

    Hope this helps :-)

%-P Hello deevo0, just send me you two DDMTT pedals. I would be glad to try this for you and clear things up with this question. Look at your private messages, I sent you my postal adress. You pay for shipping, consider this as my fee for helping you. ;-)

I know what you are talking about men, I have two kids and it’s a horrible hobby 😆 I’m joking…

Anyway it’s nice to know you, thanks for sharing these tips with the looper ;-) 20 years, looks like you are a few years ahead of me! I have built stuff but there is also so much things to learn.

    Hey Mr. Grim,

Many thanks for the good ideas. I will tell my Tonelab EX that’s your fault if he got beaten with feedback. 😆

It’s cool talking to a builder, I also plan to sell stuff within a 1-2 years timeframe. I recently opened a fuzz box I did in 2006 to clean the pots. When I saw my signature and the date, I realized that 7 years have passed! I just turned 40 and decided to put the most time I can on my music because this is what makes me a happy man! This means jamming 2 times a week with two different bands, composing the most I can and building effects! Well … I am not quitting my dayjob anytime soon but hey … if you do nothing then nothing is happening!

I stopped smoking a while ago and all the money that went to tobacco companies are now going on EHX effects. And I am so happy I took this decision. :cheese: EHX knows I love them! …

I saw your page on youTube, I also found a page where you putted your boxes. How things are going? Are you in the business since a long time?

Excuse my english btw, I am from Quebec, Canada.
