petejtMemberQuote:If I optimize them for the double track mode, I found that I would set the delay time trimpot too high for the chorus, because I don’t like hearing too much delay in my chorus effect.
Is that that “stuttering” kind of slapback “tiled bathroom echo chamber” delay sound you are referring to?
I think that is what I hear in my Rockman Stereo Chorus/Delay when I engage ‘Long Chorus’, which sets the Pre-Delay to sweep between 50ms-54ms.
It’s good for double-track like sounds, but I prefer a phasey chorus effect, so I set it to ‘Short Chorus’ which has a 20ms-24ms Pre-Delay (Delay Time?)
petejtMemberQuote:…….I’ve never owned a chorus pedal that can ‘do’ a good lesile sound, closest I’ve had is probably with the vibrato settings on the wiggler mixed with a little phase from a small stone.I believe the slight phasing is crucial to the Leslie effect. It’s much more than a wobble.
petejtMemberQuote:Hi petejt!nice to see you here, as you might have realised big pictues here need to be resized or they get cropped, there’s nothing worse than the thread getting stretched halfway across the room is there!!??
G’day Melx
Yep, thanks for the tip mate. I fixed it now. That pic is actually three times as big originally, hehe.
petejtMemberHere is a rather messy pic..

petejtMemberwow…………that’s all I can say at the moment
petejtMemberHas anyone done a exact breakdown per track of what Andy Summers has used in Police songs?
All I know is that he used a compressor (Boss CS-2?) with an Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress and a Maestro Echoplex, and possibly his MXR Phase 90.
And, that the Mistress is his key method of chorusing, rather than a dedicated chorus pedal.
