I love the original HOG. I’m intrigued by the HOG 2, but have some reservations.

The orginal HOG used a 9VDC/500mA AC adapter the new one uses a 9.6DC-200BI power supply (same as used by Boss® & Ibanez®: 9.6 Volts DC 200mA). This concerns me. Will the HOG 2 suffer from the lack of power as some of the other reissues have.

I don’t want to sell my original HOG for a HOG 2 only to find that the original sounds better.

I guess the new foot controller isn’t compatible with the original HOG, however the original controller is compatible with the HOG 2.

I wish the new controller was compatible with the orginal.

A smaller foot print would have been nice.
