Hey John, thanks for looking into it. I’ve tried tweaking the knobs every way I can think of to no avail.
Ghost, thanks too for checking it out.
I thought that was the case, I’m glad it wasn’t just my pedal. I wonder if any of the official EHX folk could chime into let us know what the deal is. The manual definitely boasts 6 seconds. The thing that bums me out about it (it is still a very cool pedal) is that 3 seconds is just short enough to not be very useful. I love in John Scofield’s soloing where he plays a line and runs it in reverse. Or it would be so useful in a longer reverse chord swell. 3 seconds is just barely gets you into it before it cuts out. I wonder what the deal is? This was actually one of the reasons I bought the pedal. I loved the looping function on the DL4 and always wanted to be able to just play and have it playback in reverse immediately. I thought this one would do it. It does I guess but 3 seconds is just short enough to not do it for me.
Anyway, thanks for the welcome and checking into it. I appreciate it!
Hey thanks!
Yes, I’m talking about the multi-tap rev function. I had tried setting the knobs to all sorts of settings and never seem to get more than 3 seconds of playback once I step on the switch to start the reverse playback. The manual makes it sound as if you should be able to get six seconds. Am I doing something wrong?
