nneekolasParticipant
I have one of these: the DeVolt.

Works PERFECTLY. You can get some wild sounds out of things, but I mainly use it for turning a germanium fuzz I have into a fuzz-factory-esque velcro thing.

Like me!
nneekolasParticipantBass Micro Synthesizer is fully functioning again with a new 4013 IC. EH Man you are a genius. Thanks for your help with all 3 pedals.
nneekolasParticipantThese projects are coming along. The Deluxe Octave Multiplexer is back up to full power again, the Micro Synthesizer… will never have a working sub-octave voice (I have given up ), and now the Polychorus. Does anyone have a Stereo Polychorus schematic, especially Revision C ? I see that EH Man doesn’t sell it, but does anyone else?
nneekolasParticipantMy guitar player used to have an op-amp with true-bypass Muff, and I thought it sounded huge on bass and recorded with it a couple times, but it had a very compressed, squishy kind of character that other muffs don’t seem to have. It really worked for those dreamy, super-sustaining slow leads.
nneekolasParticipantI have the Nano Steel Leather and it’s great! I don’t even play slap/pop style bass, either. It can subtly bring out a little more clarity, sound like your dead strings are newer, or you can pair it with a fuzz to sound really, really snarly and nasty, especially with a pick. Instant Big Black.
nneekolasParticipantAnyone with one of these fine wahs (especially the fuzz/wah) want to make a bass demo?
nneekolasParticipantEmail sent. One more stupid question though: are you advising to buy a new pot of the same value and then replace the shaft, or to use the same pot and replace the shaft? Sorry for all the questions, El Guru.
nneekolasParticipantThanks, EH Man.
Another question, there seems to be a lack of replacement pots around that are d-shaft. Do you know of any that I could buy somewhere? I have seen these on eBay (don’t know if the values are correct, just wonder if the type will work)

The collective mentality is about 7 years old.
I’ve met Vex in person and he’s a nice guy.
nneekolasParticipantI hope they can find another someone to join them in sounding exactly like a light Led Zeppelin over and over again.
nneekolasParticipantmake it a buy-it-now price of $100 and then let me know when the auction starts. The 4-knob version looks way cooler though.
nneekolasParticipantI just traded my XO. I wanted a classic enclosure, but found someone who traded me for an original with all the fixings! Needs a little work, but what a beaut. There’s something very “mission control” about the old microsynth design. So plain and space-agey.
nneekolasParticipantHe’s a good demonstrator and has great taste in pedals. His jingly-jangly theme song is cool too! Graemey, if you are reading this, please get to that Deluxe Octave Multiplexer!
