Mike will have one and sell you one, a UK adapter that is which work fine here in OZ. I use them on all my 24V pedals.

EHX would be more suited as the pedal itself fits right in with their line of pedals. (I actually designed it with that intention)
I know of quite a few guys who are NOT EE’s and they sell their designs to other companies and they make them under their name.
So its possible to do. But the question was “I’m wondering if it is recommend that I have an electrical engineering degree to be able to get a job for an effects pedal company”. To be able to get a job WITH a pedal company I recommend it. But to license TO and effect pedal company there really is no need if you already know what you’re doing.

Ned FlandersModeratorSounds like there’s not much wrong with it then…
Ned FlandersModeratorNope, its the 2000 model!
In 2007 there was a new model but it didnt last long and was revised again in 2008. If you go out and buy one now, you will more than likely get the 2008 version. I suppose stores that are slow to move stock would have the 2000 model still instock.
You can tell if its the 2008 model as it has a red water clear type LED, not a red diffused LED like the 2000 model.Incidentally, the 2008model sounds sick..I love the 2000 model but the 20008 sounds even better to me.
If it has the blue switch with 9 lugs and wires to 8 of them lugs its TB.
If it has blue diodes with a black stripe on them they are schottkys.Ned FlandersModeratorThis may help you somewhat, I drew it a couple years ago so people could make a retro fit for their reissues but ended up shrinking the PCB down so it would fit into a BB. Th elayout and parts placement is all correct though:
Ned FlandersModeratorThe best mods to do on a NYC RI IMO is to swap the 3 470pF caps to 100pF and add a tone bypass switch. Takes about 15 minutes, costs about $3. As a result it really opens up the muff, you can gain a ton of volume in bypass mode and it just sounds better in regular mode IMO with more definition.
Ned FlandersModeratorMost of these mods listed are pointless.100% (like the knobs, jacks etc ones)
I have tons of mods I’ve/and some others come up with (and they should be on my site but I haven’t got around to putting them back since I got a new photo hosting account cause I’m fucking lazy) but they wont be much use to you if you cant solder.LOL
All mods that people sell, I can and will do for free (minus parts) and am happy to. But you’re in the US so…
I’m also happy to give you diagrams of the mods people are selling too as I had them online before most people started selling these mods and they are likely stolen from me (and jack orman) anywyas.

Ned FlandersModeratorShiiit, didnt even know there was an online edition
Ned FlandersModeratorYeah it should be cool enough.
Ned FlandersModeratorThe POG/s are extremely advanced pieces of stompbox technology that cant be imitated with analog and zero software.Sorry dude.
You may end up with something cool but it wont be a POG (analog) equivalent. -
