I use UK supplies all the time,they are fine providing its the right adapter like already said.

It meant to be there and is completely stock, you should be able to see where it goes as the leg is only so long.

It also uses a totally different configuration capacitors and resistors. The capacitor values make a huge difference.

You can make a replacement very easily with some sheet metal…thats all it is, slightly bent sheet metal with a hole drilled thru it.

Australia is 240v/50Hz and i use 220V UK power supplies on my pedals. I just us a plug adapter.

+1,000,000! Me neither. 100nF caps sound badin any big muff IMO. Its ok to have a few 100nF’s so long as the majority are 1uF’s.

The version 6 is IMO one of the best sounding muffs ever made and its not really vintage anyways, they started making V6’s in 81(or was it 80? I forget)….not vintage at all.

I guess we could all use a course in labels. I’ve been a huge SY fan for almost 20 years now, but I always thought of them as an art-rock band. Avant-garde is so passé…

I wouldn’t go re assigning version numbers just yet because of one example of a likely transitional muff. If there was a few thousand of them yes i would, but as of now this is the only one I’ve ever seen.
Its like the sovteks, there’s transitional versions that dont really deserve a version number because all that changed was the font or switch.

You know the input is on the left and the output is on the right I assume? I’ve had this symptom from plugging in a pedal backwards once….I dont recal which pedal it was but it wasn’t a big muff.
