Well at least monkeys share a recent ancestor with homo sapiens! 😆

The same can be said of sheep and rams too I ‘spose if you go back to the primordial slime we come from! 😆

This new one has flaky paint but my first one has really hard wearing paint, its way darker too, so dark you can barely read the writing on it. The above pic of my first one is amazing as the writing is clear as. In real life you have to twist the pedal at certain angles to see the writing. the second one doesnt have this problem at all. And on the 2nd one its only the top plate that the paints flaky, not the cast cast part.

Yeah there’s more muff enthusiasts posting about muffs of late for some reason.

    Saturation…precisely why I love the 3034! 😆

:) I have a 1st version greenie with 100k pots and others I’ve seen online have 100k pots……typical sovtek to put 150k in a bunch too.

As for parts, i keep all my sovtek/EHX big muff parts, I have a bag full of the stuff. I don’t get rid of anything Big Muff related.

BTW, I was the one trying to find that switch for you on TGP. No luck so far dude.

I like your reverse graphics muff BTW! :)

You have your 2x 3034’s on ebay hey!?!?!?!?!?! I have a 3034 ,I think its one of the best sounding muffs around.

Can you please post a gut shot of the mogwai muff?, of the component side (not the solder side) so I can see all the parts. I’d like to see if it differs and/or how much from the 2000 model NYC.

Make it as high resolution as possible.

Thanks heaps if you can! :)

Yep, for all people in the US with pedals that aren’t under warranty and vintage pedals etc I refer them to Ron!
    He’s a good guy.

I haven’t had the privileged of using one but Ron (TheEHMan) has I’m sure, he’ll see this thread eventually.

Yeah thanks for the ref! :)

I swapped my SMMH for it, he was stoked to get offered the SMMH. He’s actualy a cool guy, we spoke on the phone yesterday. He called me up and said he didn;t really want to get it fixed anymore as muffs aren’t his sound (he plays in hillsong in Sydney) so did i want to buy it. I said hows about a trade, he said sure! The rest is history.

I’m modding it, there’s no way I’m leaving it stock BTW.

As for the delay I no longer have, I’ll get a memory boy. (its just for noise anyways)

Electronic Engineering! But you should get into DIY pedal building first to see if its really want you want to do. Build a heap of pedals, learn the necessities then start designing your own effects loosely based on other circuits. if you’re still interested, go for it.
