well…we all know that tubes behave a certain way depending on how hot they get. If you have a HIGH OUTPUT PICKUP then the sound will change. If you PICK HARDER is effects the texture of your tone. If you LOWER YOUR VOLUME if also changes the texture of the sound.
I’m not saying “TUBES ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO,” but I think they CAN make a positive impact on the sound. But it’s cool, man. Maybe tube are NOT neccessary for and EQ system.

It’s not tube but that’s life.Yeah–I just noticed that…..the more I stare at it, the more I need to try it out. Thanks brother!

It’s cool, but not enough control. The GRAPHIC FUZZ is better for me, BUT it has a DISTORTION GAIN…..I already use the distortion channel on my amp. I Just want EQ control. I like the E-H quality, but I dont like paying for extra feature that I don’t use.
The GRAPHIC FUZZ is more like what I’m looking for, but it has that extra DISTORTION feature. Does E-H have “my pedal” in production?

I saw it on the cover of a 25 year old copy of “THE HOBBIT”.
