Anytime…It’s great pedal and best reverb there is (only the new Eventide Space gives me goosebumbs but anyway it’s just a big fat clunker compared to Cathedral) ! The Cathedral has got loads of features but it really doesn’t work as two pedals at once :worried: Definitely a great buy !

And as for delays – just try the Deluxe Memory Man before any other – then you can either settle with something less awesome (which I did and now I have a tough time selling it for a decent prize), get a different delay in features or get the DMM right away (which would have saved me a lot of money)…

This is the lasted version of my board. I just added the POG2 and had to move the Super Hard On and the Switcher off the board. I plug in my 52 reissue tele in the Super Hard on and my 61 reissue SG in to the switcher so I can switch guitars without swapping cables. I love how my ZVEX pedals interact with my EHX pedals. I run the two delays at the same time mostly and with the Fuzz Factory it creates some awesome tones with my british made Vox AC-30. I just bough a Sovtek Mig 100 and can’t wait to try it out with my setup.

You sir are my HERO ! Greatest combination ever (Zvex + EHX) – I also dig the Memory man + FuzzFactory sound – it’s the greatest sound I’ve ever heard and I’m still finding new sounds every day with just those two pedals…
How does the Pog2 interact with the FuzzFactory ? Because I’m thinking of buying an octave pedal and I have the FF as well…Are you using the SHO also with the Factory or just to boost the BoR or an amp ? Thanks…

Hi ! I have the cathedral as well as Deluxe Memory Man and Boy and the delay on Cathedral is good…I mean obviously it’s not an analog delay but it has also a filter and additional reverb option and the core sound is quite good…BUT the problem is that the Cathedral is a reverb with 7 modes and for example I’m using it heavily for that so I’m not using the delay mode often because I’m using other modes…There’s just too many features on the Cathedral ! But the delay itself is good especially if you’re new to delays so if you don’t mind using Cathedral only for delay on some songs then go ahead…Anyway go ahead – you can find out if you like delays and finally end up with 4 delay pedals as me (one is for sale though :-( )…

Because the only thing missing on the cathedral is the ability to change modes via footswitch – I know there isn’t enough room on the pedal but still…there could be an external footswitch for that…

EDIT: Sorry, I didn’t read your post properly – no it’s not a reverb and delay simultaneously. The delay on reverb modes is just a space until the reverb comes. The delay mode is a proper delay but you can’t use reverb and delay mode simultaneously. On the delay mode you can have some reverb on the delayed notes but still – it’s not the same as running delay and reverb pedal separately… So either reverb or delay not both – but still it’s a greatest reverb pedal I know :D

That’s a great idea ! It certainly would be interesting. That synth tones sounds awesome ! …But still – I want something small and easy to use live, for experiments I’m planning to buy the Hog or some similar beast but that’s a little far ahead… :worried: And I can come up with some great synth tones just by using the FuzzFactory and DMB’s square wave…really great lo-fi tones…

Thanks – it’s just that not every effect is available in a God forsaken hole I happen to live in…But thanks…

I know Behringer effects are bad but I thought just for this one thing it could work…I will try it in a shop anyway…THX

    BILL, that’s AMAZING !

Your version of X-files is far better then the original! I like it better because the sound is more natural then the synths they used – especially great is the rythm delay guitar…It gives me creeps – now I can’t sleep today :D

And that Ring Thing thing was also astonishing. I think it’s the most underrated pedal…You lot should really try to show it more…Why on earth it isn’t more popular? It’s far better shifter than Digitech Whammy, amazing ring modulator and it has also some cool modulating effect – great for experimentation…But the whammy function should be first on the list – that would attract everybody, not just EHX-loving guys…

seriously – an edge ltd edition mem man while the chips are still around.,., if not now when?

The chips aren’t around anymore. EHX just took a bath on a load of them that turned out to be fake, causing the discontinuation of the Deluxe Memory Man w/ Tap Tempo.

    😥 😥 😥 That’s terrible…It’s the best pedal ever ! (I really mean that)…

He’s got a photo in his avatar here…Just check his posts…

And Bill…you’re the man! You make absolutely great demos so you’ve talked me into buying some EHX pedals and now I’m pretty much interested only in them…

    Cheers…

If I can contribute to the Edge’s delay – it’s hard to do it. Firstly, you need to find out the exact delay time and voicing of the chords – how much modulation etc…Then bear in mind that he often uses 2 delays and also some modulation effects, octavers for shimmers (go in a separate amp) etc…

I would suggest an analog delay (like the Deluxe MM) and a digital with gazillion of features – I’d like to recommend SMMw/Hazarai but it doesn’t have a tap divide function and that can be a problem…So maybe the new Memory man with Tap tempo and Hazarai could do the trick…I have DMBoy, DMM and Vox Time Machine (I want to swap it for SMMwH) and it works great…

Then the only vital thing is to play the same rythmic patterns, mute strings correctly etc…I play Where the Streets Have No Name with my band occasionally for fun (I’d be only interested in MUSE cover band – the rest is just for fun). And it can be done easily – I’m using two delays and it works fine…The most difficult part is the beggining of the first verse I guess (muted parts), but that’s maybe because I’m not a big palm mutting fan and I also sing the song…

Are you sure it’s not because your settings…?
When you turn the feedback up (past 12 o’clock) you’ll get some volume increase but that’s because the reverb repeats just too many times (with fuzz box it’s almost like oscilation, long drone almost unbearable to listen to…)…So just check this…otherwise there shouldn’t be any volume increase…
