October 23, 2011 at 3:54 pm in reply to: Interesting ebay auctions and listings on other sites. #116215Mr.GrimMember
selling off a lot of my extras from my ever growing collection, many EH items here people, lots a good stuff all ready gone (like new polychorus in wood bx ect…) but there are plenty more still up, and i may list more EH related items within the newxt 2 weeks.
Mr.GrimMembergreat tune!, sounds to me like “stoner rock” or “Black Sabbath like” and i love that style of music!
Mr.GrimMemberTHANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
Mr.GrimMembercant the SMMH as well as other samplers do this all ready? but maybe not very user friendly unfortunately!?
i could swear the first week i had my SMMH, while trying everything out on it and exploring, when using the sampler part of the unit, you could then speed up or slow down the recorded phrase with one of the knobs? as well as maybe the pitch?
Mr.GrimMemberjust go to walmart or your local everything store and go to the craft section, they have tiny glue guns there for like $5. that will be cheaper than one tube of silicon and you can use it again!
Mr.GrimMemberagain i have to agree with him.
it would be nice to see them all reissued with more modern tech and reliability, but keep the modular system going, i liked being able to buy and connect add ons and controllers ect. its like a drum kit for us pedal board nerds!
Mr.GrimMemberso true WatsonWood.
if you search thrue the EHX forums, you can find user input and suggestions, that have became every new EH pedal for the last couple years.
now its awesome that there taking our suggestions directly and using them to make what we want, but i think it would be a better selling point if they would just say they made it for us users from our opinions, it proves that they listen, instead of saying it was all there own idea.
Mr.GrimMemberi may be wrong but the most simplest answer would probably be a dieing battery. have you checked its condition? a older battery would definitely cause this issue with your pedal.
also remember that when using batteries, weather its in a pedal or an active guitar, unplug them from the input jacks when not in use! when the cable is inserted into the jack, it also switches on the battery power to the pedal, so to save life, use AC or disconnect all cables when not in use!
Mr.GrimMemberyeah you need to remove the board to get to all the solder on the other side.
BUT…be very very careful! in order to remove the board you need to remove the knob and unscrew the pot on the front of the unit. unfortunately these new knobs are pressed on and not ment to be removed, there for, many people carelessly trying to remove the havem also broken the pot as well!!!
Mr.GrimMemberyeah sounds like sum bad caps, unfortunately i dont know anything about this model only the U.S ones.
but i must ask……
whats the story on your name? there is a beef jerky sold locally to me with that name…..lol
Mr.GrimMemberi had heard sum where that the chips that the pedal were based one turned up to be fakes, so they have no chips to make them, i hear that there are about 300 of them going to be sold (i dont know where or how) and the rest is on hold till its redesigned with different chips.
correct me if im wrong.
Mr.GrimMemberyou can get away with using the English Muff’n as a PREamp, but there is no power to drive the signal into a speaker, you will need the 22Cal for the power amp to drive anything.
Mr.GrimMemberi dont know if this helps at all, watch this!

storm sounds are at about 1:35
Mr.GrimMemberi was going to suggest ebay as well. unfortunately thats probably your only bet.
but just because its ebay don’t mean its used, there are many world wide company’s, and distributors selling there store items on ebay these days.
they sell here overstock and hard to sell stock on there, so “last years models would be there as well.
trust me i dont pay more than 50-75% retail ever!
June 17, 2011 at 1:43 pm in reply to: Billy Corgan going through his vintage pedal collection, including EHX #115724Mr.GrimMemberi was a fan when i was younger, not really at all now.
