strange i never thought of this, i will need to give it a go!
odd i don’t have a wound G string all ready, i use Ernie Ball custom gauge 2627 Beefy Slinky’s.
11-15-22p-30-42-54 basically its like having 11 gauge strings but the incline is so drastic that by the time you get to the low E your now in 12 gauge.
Funny my low E on my guitar is bigger than the G string on my bass!
Mr.GrimMemberyou could try a compressor before the Ravish to even out all the strings volume levels.
Mr.GrimMemberthe adapter you got with the pedal is correct!
EHX did not manufacture there own adapters, and those are the ones they supply with there pedal.
it was not until very recently that they started including adapters with there name on them.
there is seriously sum thing wrong with your pedal, you need to return it for a new one!
Mr.GrimMemberim currently running the new Seymour Duncan Blackout active humbuckers into a LBM, with no issues at all, sounds great! and the Blackouts are “hotter” than EMG81’s
Mr.GrimMemberas long as your PSU is also “center negative” it should work just fine.
otherwise there may be sum thing wrong with that unit.

But it can be found, i get all my parts as well as equipment and other life necessities from Ebay.
i all ready found one for you …..
if you dont want to go with that listing, just search for “1/4 PCB jack” and look for the matching nut on the outside.

units will work on batteries, and even in a daisy chained power supply, but not on its own dedicated power supply?!?!
and i too have used many proper power supply’s to test, and ….nothing.
OH….FLICK! Sum thing is going on here!

i have the same exact problem as the above user with my nano bass balls!
*powers fine in daisy chains.
*powers fine with battery or battery snap adapter.
***but will not power with any adapter by its self?!?!?!?!?!?!
i know what i am doing, i tried 8 adapters that are all correct specs, opened pedal and found to broken traces or solder joints!
!!!!!!!!!!!WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
